Milwaukee Packout mounting plate DXF files are a downloadable CNC-ready package for making three Packout-compatible sheet-metal mounting plate sizes for workshop, van, UTV, truck-bed, or wall-mounted storage installations.

What You Get

  • DXF, SVG, and PDF cut files containing the half, full, and triple mounting plate designs.
  • PDF drawings with finished dimensions and sheet-metal bending directions for all three sizes.
  • No physical mounting plate, toolbox, sheet metal, hardware, fasteners, or finished storage system is shipped.

Included Sizes

  • Half size: approximately 250 x 406 x 25 mm / 9.84 x 15.98 x 0.98 in.
  • Full size: approximately 484 x 406 x 25 mm / 19.06 x 15.98 x 0.98 in.
  • Triple size: approximately 738 x 406 x 25 mm / 29.06 x 15.98 x 0.98 in.

Material and Fabrication

  • Recommended material: 2.0 mm / 0.079 in cold- or hot-rolled steel sheet. The closest common US steel sheet size is 14 gauge at approximately 1.9 mm / 0.075 in.
  • The single-part designs use slot cuts along the bend lines. Nearby sheet thicknesses from approximately 1.5 to 2.5 mm / 0.059 to 0.098 in can be used when the bend radius and bend process are adjusted for the selected material.
  • Suitable cutting workflows include CNC plasma, laser, or waterjet cutting.

Before Cutting

  • CADtsy designs are created in millimeters. Confirm units and scale before sending the files to CAM software.
  • Verify kerf, Packout engagement, latch clearance, mounting-hole fit, material thickness, bend radius, and machine settings with a test cut.
  • Select installation fasteners for the mounting surface, support structure, expected load, and environment. Hardware is not included or specified.

⚠️ Technical Support & Scaling

Unit system: CADtsy designs are generally prepared in millimeters (mm). Check the product description for product-specific sizing details.
Import scale: If your software is set to inches, a DXF or SVG file may import at the wrong scale. Re-import using millimeters where possible, or confirm the scale before cutting.
DXF import help: If a DXF opens 25.4 times too large or too small, read why DXF files import at the wrong size before scaling or cutting.
DXF or SVG: Read DXF vs SVG for CNC cutting before importing or creating toolpaths.
Before cutting: Verify material thickness, kerf, bit or nozzle size, toolpaths, machine setup, and software compatibility before producing a final part.
Support: If you are unsure about a file or license question, contact CADtsy.
